 The Initiative is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization:

•  formed by professionals with experience in juvenile justice, law enforcement and human services living in communities near Trenton
•  who were impressed by the accomplishments of the Weed and Seed anti-crime program spearheaded by the Department of Justice and the City of Trenton in the under-served Greater Donnelly neighborhoods of North Trenton
• and by the community's accomplishments and desire for revival
• supporting programs for children and their families in these anchor communities: gang-resistance, mentoring, tutoring, food security and more---
